It’s a word with quite a few connotations and we feel we have secured two prime examples of these descriptions to speak at our June Breakfast – Stuart Gregor and David Clerk.
These businessmen come from very different backgrounds and have founded very different businesses, but each are successful entrepreneurs with terrific stories to share.
Stuart Gregor is the voice and co-founder of ‘Four Pillars’, a gin distillery located in Healesville. Since establishing Four Pillars in 2013, the team have forged ahead with their mission to change the statistic of more than 90% of the gin consumed in Australia being imported. They are well on the way! Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin has received, for the second time, the Double Gold Medal at the the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco 2016.
David Clerk, is related to the man who discovered and documented the speed of light, James Clerk Maxwell, born in the 19th century. Clerk has continued in the footsteps of his famous ancestor, founding a company dedicated to the idea that the humble light bulb can be continuously reinvented to make life better. Clerk has produced a full range of app-controlled, intuitive, eco-friendly products, integrating consumer electronics with enegry-saving LED lighting and creating products that reduce clutter and expand smart home capabilities. He is founder of SENGLED .
