Sound Space Design
SOUND SPACE DESIGN is an award-winning international design firm specializing in the architecture, urban design and interior design of hospitality, leisure and transportation infrastructure. Founded in 1995 by Fulbright Scholar and UCLA Masters graduate Don Albert, SOUND SPACE DESIGN have received international acclaim for South Africa’s Millennium Tower, Durban, the highperformancentre at the University of Pretoria, the Proud Heritage Clothing Campus and the iconic Organic House in Cape Town, amongst others. In October 2010 we relocated the core of our business to Singapore in order to design three hospitality projects in the region, and in October 2014 relocated our design headquarters to Africa’s commercial engine, Sandton.
Design principal Don Albert is an active participant in the current architectural debate, exhibiting and lecturing extensively, and has recently published a monograph SOUND SPACE DESIGN, the Architecture of Don Albert & Partners.
